Hey guys if anyone could help me out with this i would deeply appreciate it.I swapped a 92 kade into my 89 hatch and i got everything all bolted in and wired up and i go to start it and nothing happened besides my fuel pump kicking on.I read somewhere that a guy just touched the two starter grounds together with a big screwdriver to start his car for a while so i tried that and the starter just spins without catching the flywheel.I swapped out the starter with one that i know works and its still the same deal anybody have any ideas? Also i have an aftermarket flywheel.

The teeth on the starter are not engaging the flywheel. Either wrong starter or the flywheel is not correct for your application. I'd suspect the latter because you already swapped the starter with a known good one and it does the same thing.

It is an f1 flywheel for a ka24de i did a little research and it could possibly be the little blue relay beside the battery has anyone else had this problem?

I am going to say it's not the relay. If the starter is spinning but not engaging the flywheel and you know the starter is good then something is wrong with the flywheel. The relay may be causing you to have to jump the starter to get it turning but once again, if it turns but fails to engage the flywheel you have other problems going on.

here's the injector trouble diag ill try to type it up.

first disconnect injector harness connectors, turn ignition on, check voltage at terminal (A) and ground, battery voltage should exist. if not check continuity between injector connectors and battery. if good check resistence on injectors it should be (10-15) ohms. if good, check output signal between injector connectors and ecu. your gonna have to check a manual for your injector terminals on your ecu. if not good repair wires, if good you have to check all input signals like crank angle, engine speed, timming, etc...if those check out its the ecu. hope this helps.

I'm pretty sure the wires and injectors are fine because when i plug in the sohc ecu they pulse just fine so i'm confused would that mean my ecu is bad?
