i've been having an issue with my 240sx, it dies sometimes when i come to a stop. rpms will drop to below 500.

I'd recommend taking the IACV off, cleaning it, and replacing the gasket.
Take the idle screw out, clean everything up, then put it back on.

ty for the reply and link. got a temp sensor and some cleaners but didn't get a gasket for the iavc. going to try and do this tomorrow night.

Very old post but I used to have a tear in my air intake rubber piece. when I would stop at lights the air flow sensor would bug out and at all the car had to put tape for awhile then fitted on from a ka24e
