is it posible to hook up a sr 5speed to a ka-de? i need to find away to beef up the trans cuz i blow the ka trans every time i go out for to long or to rough. any input would be great

If you want a stronger transmission you need to put a Z32 transmission in the car.

Z32 would be stronger, but SR transmission can be done I think. I don't know about the wiring(granted the only wire that really matters is the reverse lights) but you can swap the KA bellhousing onto the SR transmission. I have heard of it being done the other way so when an SR transmission goes out you can buy a cheap KA transmission to put on your SR.

Same method applies to Z32.

i didnt know a z32 can fit. hell i just might go with that an see if it can handle the abuse

Get the twin turbo transmission ,it will take the abuse.

eaither will take the abuse, they have the same input shaft and output shaft size, either will be better then a sr/ka/rb20 gear set.

you can swap the bell housings from a ka to sr or sr to ka to make something work
