Ka24de Speedometer in to a Ka24e

If I had a Speedometer(HUD) from a ka24de would it work in my Ka24e car? I know that the tach is won't read the signal from my ka24e but will the speedo cluster? thanks

The speedo will work, and if you take the tach from the E and put it on the new one it should work too.

do you mean you have a heads up display cluster from a DE that you wanna put in an E? I have heard people have done this sucessfully before, but it is more complicated than just plugging it in, you have to redo the harness or something. The "normal" analog clusters are interchangeable between the cars. I had always thought the analog tachs were incompatable.
