KA24DE Shim & Bucket Removal

anyone know of an effective way to remove them? im trying to do my valve stem seals and i got 2 out with a magnet, and the others wont budge. any ideas besides going out and buying a stronger magnet? btw i searched and couldnt find much on this subject.

Is there oil sludge keeping it from coming out of there? make sure that you know where each bucket came from-(they should go back to the same hole--shim thickness) I had this same problem--I cleaned the top off with brake cleaner and used a hot glue gun and a glued a stick to each of the stuck tappets/buckets--worked like a champ!!
