So here's the break down...

my wiring harness somehow got wrapped in the fan. ripped some cables, took out a vacuum line, seized the clutch fan, broke the maf sensor.

so i spliced the wiring, got it all to start up again. the fan was seized so it turned with the engine. but it ran n i could hear the fan all loud. And i would feel a power loss at 4000rpm.

so i replaced the clutch fan, the stock intake, and the carbon canister cuz it broke.

After i replaced all that it ran a little more junk. It smells suuuper rich, idles like **** and wont hold the idle. Plus it doesnt want to rev past 2500, it just bogs out there and lets off a lot of black smoke, if i let go of the gas it shuts off.

so this is what else i then replaced. I cut the harness and spliced on a solid piece with no tears or what not, replaced the broken sensors. still same symptom

then i replaced the coil pack, and the throttle sensor. still same problem

n i just finished replacing the MAF and stiiill the same.

any ideas or suggestions on what it could be? any other info i shud add?

im gonna try n get a camera n maybe put some video of how it runs.

THAAANKS

damm i had the EXACT same problem , 2 mechanics couldnt figure it out then i took it to a performance shop... CHECK the wire that sends the signal to the maf from the ecu, it needs to be regrounded.. ur gonna have to pop open the ecu and find out what wire it is ... that info took months for me to get and 120$ hope it works
