Has anyone completely rebuild a KA24DE? Tell me about it, that is, your experience. Any gotchas? Be aware of? Tips? Must replace parts? Don't use?

Had a hard time pulling off the timing chain cover until I cracked a lower chain guide(around the lower chain gear). pull the pan off before the timing cover, and dont mix up the lifter/buckets whatever you call it.

bump for interest..what are the basic necessary tools required?of course, except the tq. wrench, other misc. wrenches,... thats all i can think of..
