if you look at the first video, this is what my car sounds like when i turn it on. and sometimes it takes awhile to turn on i just keep craknking it. the second video thats how it sounded before the car actually stopped trying to move.

can someone tell me what the problem might be? or has anyone ever experienced this noise before. NOTE a week before this noise started happening my upper timing chain guard cracked.

i dont think the previous owner before me has done a oil change after a year of the car sitting in his driveway. when i first took off my valve cover to remove the cracked upper timing chain this is what it looks like..

im willing to bet that one of your timing chain guides is broken and the broken peices is somewhere rubbing against the chain, that or your tensioner is shot. and go buy a can of seafoam please your engine=filthy

your top chain guard broke off, you can see it in the 3rd pic. It's down somewhere rubbin against the chain which is all the shavings you see.

haha yea my engine is filthy, and the upper timing chain guard cracked off but i took it out already, so it can prolly be the tensioner. or ppl are saying maybe a bent rod hitting something

first..condition...wow bro..wow....how can ya ever find anything wrong if ya cant see where your problem is...dont get me wrong now..im not jumpin on ya to put ya down..just tryin to explain why most tuner keep the engine spotless....and do you change the oil regular like?..couse it dont look like it....i would sugest sire....a HOT pressure wash for the outside and underside of the car..and some sort of internal cleaner for the valvetrain and motor works..hell..just rebuild it ..looks like its time anyways...good luck man..and take better care of your ride...and it wont leave ya broke down somewhere in BFE.
