Okay so I am driving home yesterday and randomly my car starts to putter down and dies.... No advance warning signs it just acts like it lost all fuel and dies. I try turning it over and it has a good crank but no ignite.

I would think this is the fuel pump or fuel fuse right? Which one is more probable? It happened at night so I couldnt check to see if the engine was getting any fuel (its so incredibly cold too!)

Replaced it and still no dice. Car turns over fine but no fire or attempt.

We need a little more info. You need three things to run, fuel, spark, compression..1 Spark is easy to check. Pull the coil wire out and have someone crank engine over while holding coil wire close to motor. Do you have spark?.2 To check for fuel you can remove the fuel line from the fuel filter and turn switch on. You should get fuel for a couple seconds..3 To check compression pull plugs and install gauge into each cylinder and crank engine. From what you have described I think the fuel pump has gone bad. Check these and let us know and we will help.

It doesn't smell like fuel when you crank it does it? That happened to me when my Coolant temp sensor went out. It dumped a TON of fuel into the combustion chamber and was so rich, it wouldn't run. When you turn the key to the "ON" position, do you hear the fuel pump come on?
