ka24de question...

hi im new here! i sold my Honda crx and upgraded to a 240sx! the motor is the ka24de.

now i have a question that yall may be able to help me with.

around 4100rpms-5600rpms my car falls flat on its face right after it picks right back up.

any idea of what might cause this?

umm, are you sure? cause that's right about where the powerband should be...and you are saying that the power picks up after 5600? picks up like it hits the power band or is it weaker like it should be for higher rpms?

also, very important, is the car bone stock? if not than what all has been done?
