KA24DE Question

I recently started working on a 1992 240SX KA24DE and have come across a slight problem.

After assembling my intake I was looking at it compared to the diagram in the factory service manual. It says there should be a EGR temperature sensor mounted to the collector I believe but I did not remove one. I just want to know if there is one supposed to be there. I'm almost positive I didn't remove one when taking off the intake.

The EGR temp sensor is only for California cars.
