no i wasnt i was driving and boom it went.. it was bc freeze plugs get weak and if your motor overheats it will expand that plug then shrink it.. and my truck had only over heated once since the day i had bought it.. and i had it two years before it overheated..OutToWinPAHC wrote:pressure for a reason..... what happened before this plug burst out? I believe he is asking the OP seeing that he has the issue presently.OutToWinPAHC wrote:pressure for a reason..... what happened before this plug burst out? Were you overheating?
you shouldnt have to worry about it being warpped it should be peach... but like guy said you probably building steam pressure..soupercars wrote:Damn you guys are good. I was dealing with slight overheating issues before that but I never let it get out of hand. Turns out it was just a leaky radiator hose, so after I fixed that I hadn't had an issue until the plug popped out. I will try a new plug for sure, I just really hope heat didn't warp the head. I can't even begin to express my gratitude.
