freshly swapped Ka24de, from a Ka24e, have engine harness ECU, MAF, tach,So the car was running all day 2 days ago without a problem, except at stops it would idle from 800-100 and stall, even when I was driving and pushed in the clutch to come to a stop it would stall, I figure that is the fuel filter. That night I was driving home and my headlights shut off and my car was bogging out, I just made it home before it died. The next day I went to start my car and it didn't crank, charged the battery drove it to a shop, tightened the positive on the alternator and the car drove healthy for 3 hours, I also had a Voltmeter installed the volts were at a constant 13.5. I checked my alternator by turning everything on, lights, sub and it would drop to 12V then back up to 13V. Turned my car off for an hour, went back turned it on and drove it down the street and my voltmeter dropped from 12V to 10V then eventually died, I tried to bomb start my car and all the electronics turned off and the engine just sat at 500 RPM and sputtered until it stopped. Today I put a charged battery in my car and drove it home, as soon as I turned it off it wouldn't start again. Today I put 14 gauge power wire from the alternator POS + output to the POS+ terminal on my batter then I ran another ground off the NEG - output on the alternator to a bolt on the intake manifold. Also my engine ground comes off of the same bolt on the intake manifold and goes to my battery. I tried bomb starting my car again after wire replacement, and it did the same thing, all the power went out on my dash, it sat at 500 RPM and sputtered and eventually died. What is going on? can I ground my engine and alternator on the intake manifold? How could my alternator be done if it was working fine for 2 days? its a new alternator my car was running like a champ the other day.

Sounds like u might have a bad or loose ground, trying checking tension on ur alternator belt, might be too loose. If ur running voltage is only 13v thats kinda low. Healthy charging system should be about 13.3 to 13.5v with no load and no lower than 12.4v under full load. Might want to also check ur battery cables as they might be heavily corroded.

here is what you do first 1 Is the problem in vacuum or atmospheric pressure? Basically does it rev up and run great 3,000+ish rpm so from 3-7k rpm if this part of you engine runs pretty good then that eliminates tons of problems...
if the problem is 3k rpm below then check All your intake pipes for Un-metered, make sure your iac is metered make sure its working make sure your fpr is plugged into vacuum, make sure your fuel injector o-rings are not leaking air (anything you took apart or changed double check)
