My ka24de runs really fast until about 25 minutes of driving. When this happens it just seems as if im giving it only about 80% gas. Lots of new parts Cap, rotor, plugs, fuel filter, different ecu, injectors, another tps.Changing the tps helped most of the hesitation.

Note my valve seals need replaced. When I had the header off all the exhaust valves looked drippy. It hasnt burned any oil in 1k miles that I can tell. Can leaky valve seals cause power loss? I'm thinking when oil thins out in about 25 minutes maybe? My compression numbers are within 5psi, so no problem there.

If it warms up too much, it can lose power just because of the heat. I'm sure someone will have something to say, but properly cool motors run better and make more power than if they are totally heatsoaked.

I think its good on water temp at least. I stuck a probe in my coolant it was right at 170F. My gauge stays in the middle as well.

170 degrees sounds good.

Is the cat plugged? Is the knock sensor detecting knock and pulling timing? It's hard to tell exactly without going through everything, so cheap stuff first.

My knock sensor is cracked, but it is plugged in. I did have knock sensor throw code, but it hasnt been back since i put the motor in. I might try the resistor trick because those sensors arent cheap. My cat is gutted because it was kinda plugged.

My other ka24de burned oil BAD and it too only ran crappy when fully warmed up? The only thing similar is the cracked knock sensor, and no egr on either motor?
