okay, ka24de, unknown mileage,here's the story, car work PERFECTLY fine after a decent tune up, just looked through everything to make sure everything was right, so i drove it all day long.Then i took my car to my buddy's house to get the valve cover painted. I took it off and had oil in the spark plug chamber,it was full of oil so did everything i was supposed to. So the cover went back on, turned the car on and the idle went from 1200ish,and slowly started to die down and go's to around 500 rpm's and dies shortly after....if i give it gas it stays on and when i stop it will do the same thing...i searched this up on here,and im still not sure what i should do, i cant find the bolt for the idle control? thank you.

I'd guess your IACV took a dump on you. Any codes?

im not sure, i got it running again, it seems to be doing it every once in a while. it was a vacuum line that was dry rotted.replaced it, but there are no check engine nothing, haven't got to check for codes, but my break light is on constantly on the dash...

Check your brake fluid.
