I was wondering what other performance options there are for the KA24DE Motor other than the turbo kit. I am a student and im saving for the turbo kit, but in the mean time i would like to do some things to increase the performance. If anyone can help me out Id appreciate it.

well you can do all of your simple bolt ons I/H/E or underdrive pulley - or nitrous if your engine is strong with not alot of miles

I'd say if ur plainning to go turbo get stuff that u'll bve able to sue with the turbo like underdrive pulley, exhaust, and electirc fans just make an intake. i wouldnt waste the money on nitrious and the chance of it hurtin ur engine

I would hold off on intake and / or header, they will be useless with a turbo. A good exhaust would be a nice place to start, make sure you get a good flowing one to go with a future turbo. Personally, i would just put all the money you would use on performance stuff, and save it for the turbo kit.

SUSPENSION, all the mods in the world don't do much if you can't get the power to the ground. plus drifting is a hell of a good time.

tru suspension makes driving 240s even more fun. i cant stand driving cars without suspension work anymore.

in the meantime..............exhaust,suspension,cams....the header and intake would be a waste of money if you plan on t-charging,but I don't think nitrous would hurt a thing if you juiced it up carefully.

If you decide to do nitrous look into some head work like a port-n-polish with a good valve job and some cams - also dont forget about stopping is important as well. Suspension stuff just improves the funfactor of driving a car as well - hope the insight helped
