So it's a stock Ka24de right? So did you check your radiator? Like hoses? Radiator itself (upper tank bottom tank, any cracks?) How's the coolent? It should be 50%water50%anti-freeze. Not 100% anti-freeze. Is the fan working? The fan behind the radiator should runs all the time. Also you know sometimes after the engine overheated. The thermometer wouldnt work normal. You might as well try to get a new thermometer it cost under 10. Just check all those stuff first and see what's up. Goodluck!

Are talking about the AC fan not spinning?

Are you loosing coolant? Have you checked the thermostat?

If you have to add coolant everyday to keep it from overheating, then I would look for obvious leaks first before trying to replace random parts.

Have you pegged the needle to the hot side when it overheated? May need to check the head gasket or head itself for warping.

no leaks. the only thing that seems weird is when is low on coolant the temp goes up but as soon i accelerate the temp goes down....??and how do u pagged the needle on the hot side ?

What I believe he was asking you is ..have you pegged the needle on the hot side, in other words have you run the engine hot.

You probably have some air in the system. If you are adding coolant, then you very definitely have a leak somewhere, it may not be that noticeable at first. But coolant doesnt evaporate very fast.

The big white bladed fan on the front of the engine should be running when the engine is running. The smaller black electrical fan mounted to the radiator is a fan for the a/c and will not be running all the time.

Hope that makes sense to you.

It makes sense that as you start going faster you will get more airflow, waterpump spins faster...

Seems like you can either find out why your coolant is disappearing so quickly and fix that, or just keep adding more everyday you drive it.

Your water pump is bad. It is leaking from the small weep hole on the underside. Replace the water pump.

The overheating when the car is at a standstill may be due to a bad clutch fan on the mechanical fan; during idling, the fan should be fully engaged and spinning and at high speeds, it becomes free-wheeling.

I just went through this same issue about 8 months ago. I took it to the shop to have the thermostat replaced, due to lack of time. That seemed to work for a couple of weeks then the overheating returned. The car was fine at running speed, but when I came to a stop it was heating up. I spent a little time looking for leaks and found the water pump was leeking. I then changed out the water pump and the thermostat (again). While you are doing all that get a new belt also. The car has been running great since. Hope that helps.
