KA24DE or SR20DET

Just Bought a 95 240 as my first project and wondering what i would be better off doing, buying the SR20DET and upgrade it or rebuild the KA and turbo that. Wondering which would be the best way for HP and what peoples opinions are on it.

i think it really depends on if you want to drag or drift but i am trying to build my Ka but that is because it is a stronger motor and i saw races between a fully built Ka and sr20 and the ka dominates it. Of course you have to build it correctly. But that is just my opinion some people will tell you the sr20 is better, but over all if you are going to swap get the RB.

You need to be way more specific with your posts. First off you might of wanted to answer these questions before creating this post:

What is your desired HP?How much do you want to spend?What is this car being used for? (street, drag, drift, etc...)Do you prefer a torquey motor or a higher reving one?Do you have the time to pull out, rebuild, and turbo the KA?Do you like doing what everyone else does or do you like being different?

Both are quality motors in the right hands, but only you can decide what is best for you. Good luck.
