KA24de Oil Leak

Ok well every time I have checked my oil it has steadily gotten lower and lower (I check it when I get gas and I have only had it for a month or so). So today I jacked the car up and checked to see if I could find out where it was leaking and I noticed there there was a lot of oil all over the oil pan, sway bar, ac compressor, etc. and no oil anywhere above the oil pan. I was thinking its either the oil pan gasked or the rear main seal but I'm not sure. But I also Changed the oil about 1000 miles ago to Mobil 1 synthetic 5w-30 and I heard that it can cause oil leaks in older engines. If anybody has any idea if it could be anything else it would be greatly appreciated. Oh and also it has around 93,000 on it. :help

Well to find where an oil leak might come from...you will have to clean everything with a strong degreaser, drive around a bit jack up the car, and see exactly where the oil leak is...hope this helps...

Yea I already cleaned it off but its already dark and I dont have enough light to check so ill check tomorrow morning. I wanna drive my car

could be front crank seal if its on your compressor too. pretty common on the 240
