ka24de o2 circuit mode II monitor wont work??

I was getting a code 33(o2 circuit) and so first thing I bought a new o2. I put the ecu in mode 2 and start it. the check light wont blink 5 times like it should? I want to know my o2 circuit is working. I raced around to heat it to operating temp, and held it at 2k just like it said??
