ka24de no power timing help maby

Ok so heres the run down i got a 97 ka with 70k on it for my convertible since my stock one spun bearings. When i got the motor it was just the long block so i put my intake mani knock sensor, s13 dizzy everything on it. I no the cam timing is on because the motor has never been messed with and it came out of my friends car. I got rid of the egr along with all the extra sensors and vacuum lines and there no butterfly valves either. When i put the motor on tdc and then put the dizzy on tdc the motor will barely start and it will die out if you dont stay on the gas. If i put the dizzy 2 teeth advanced then it will run idle ruff and have no power. Could the knock sensor be messed up its not throwing a check engine light ill pull the ecu out in a min and run it for codes. Any help would be great if you drive it its very sluggish horrible throttle response i just dont get why it wont time.

Ok i ran the ecu codes got code 34 knock sensor i replaced it but still is throwing the code.
