Ka24de multi layered spacer gasket.

Hey guys i have a 94 nissan altima that is goin to be turbo'd soon. It has the same engine (Ka24de) as the 240sx. I was told that it might be a good idea to get a multi layered or spacer head gasket to help out with compression. I was also told that a Cometic gasket might be a good choice. Can anyone maybe point me in the right direction or just kinda tell me about what im looking for and maybe even where to find it.....Thanks alot....

Good advice... LEAVE THE STOCK HG WHERE IT IS!

I put a MLS Cometic HG on my KA.. Three times.. Then it sealed right.

I did all of that while people have been running 300-400 HP on the stock HG.

Honestly, its just not worth the hassle of taking off the heads to fix something thats not broken.

You wont need to lower the compression as long as you get a good tune, its all in the tune man. Save your cash and spend it where it matters most.

Oh and you should do a bunch of reading on the Ka-T forums here on Nico, it will help you a lot.
