Hello, I'm new here, and I've tried searching quite a bit but can't seem to find any info. My 91 s13 ka24de is at the machine shop being built right now, its a fully built build, however i have misplaced my idler gear washer that goes between the bolt and the timing chain idler gear. I went on courtesy nissan and tried to order it (its called idler gear plate on there) but it has been discontinued. Only part left to finish my build is tomei cams so I'd really like to get the washer soon so i can finish it. Any suggestions on where to find one, or a exact dimensions of the stock to match with a replacement?

I wonder if it's the same as the washers for the cam sprockets. I'm having issues getting part numbers for either. You seem to have found the one part number, maybe you can find the other and see if they are the same. If so, WIN! I did look a bit and saw the idler washer has been replaced/ updated and that the newer ones were available at Courtesy. Maybe you can try those part numbers, call them and verify fitment with your VIN.

Maybe someone else knows. This is a new post, so give it a bit of time for people to find and read it. Someone probably has a torn down engine laying around. It's just a matter of them logging in and finding this thread and trying to help you out. Good luck and be more careful with your engine parts in the future.

PS - did you get those Poncams?

Welcome to NICO!
From what I remember, it's really nothing special, just a washer. You could measure the shank of the bolt (or possibly check what size it is in the FSM @ www.nicoclub.com/fsm), and then just go to home depot or autozone or something to find a washer that will work.

Hello, thanks for the welcome, I have the cam washers so i will definitely try and see if they fit ok, and I'll have to look and see if there is a newer version then, thanks for the suggestion. Im going to go back to the guys i bought my 240 from and see if they have a spare, they buy and fix and sell just 240s so maybe they will have them. And i haven't ordered the poncams yet, very soon i will be though, im excited to see how the motor feels, I'll post about it when my car is back on the road
