DittoI have never changed spark plugs with out changing at least wires along with it. Most ppl who change plugs/wires dont grease the boot that fits over the spark plug and ends up killing the connection when you pull it off to check or change. The wires could have been fine right b4 you took them off to change the plugs. Just my .02. I always, always do both at the same time. And grease the boots.
Yes sir...I always grease both ends of the wires.

Uh ok....so as you can tell by this thread date it's been a while and the car hasn't acted up since the plugs and wires UNTIL TODAY. I was driving down the interstate and downshifted to pass someone then back to 4th. The car started shuddering. At first I didn't know what was up but I pulled off an exit and put the car in neutral and it was missing. I revved it and it quit. Wtf? Replace cap and rotor?

So today I replaced my cap and rotor and fuel filter. The original one had 103,500 on it with some residue on the points and rotor button. (wonder if that was it) I also cleaned my MAF with CRC MAF cleaner and changed the oil (it was due). We'll see if it decides to miss again. CROSSING MY FINGERS After this stuff I guess what's left is resealing the injector O-rings..or a bad injector...or a knock sensor...or a coolant temp sensor....or timing check...idk
