ka24de location of starter

my ? location of starter on 92 s13 is it right next to the oil filter. can you remove it from the top or should i try to get at it from under. if any one could post a pic of bolt location that would be helpfull. thanks

Hey... it's kind of a pain to do with the intake manifold in the way, but as long as you have the right tools you should be ok. I believe the acutal starter is held on by two bolts..you also have to disonnect some wires from the starter. Just stick your head down there and look at it.. .it's very very easy, sorry I couldn't get a pic.. it's dark outside right now.

very easy to get to from the bottom. 2 14mm bolts that hold it to the transmission.

i took it out today went and had tested no good. so i put a new one in good to go all set now. thanks
