Hey everyone, I've been lurking around the forums for a few years, and I recently got a 1993 240sx. However, the problem is with my friends car.

He has a 1992 240sx with an S14 KA24DE put in by the previous owner. Since my friend has had it, he popped the ignition, for some dumbass reason. He starts the car by putting the ignition wires together and pushing down on the clutch. Hes been doing this for a few weeks, blowing fuses and who knows what. The fuel pump went bad because the previous owner lost the gasket that goes on the cover & sealed it off with sealer. The sealer got into the gas tank and clogged the fuel strainer and broke the Walboro 255. He replaced the fuel pump with an ISIS 255 and it ran for a few days until one day it started bogging and just wouldn't start. He would leave it alone then it would start sometimes for another 4 days, or wouldn't start at all. He's getting spark, hes getting fuel after the filter, but the fuel doesn't spray out of the injectors when he takes them out. And when one day it decided to start for 10 minutes, he turn on his headlights and it shut off. We've put SR20 injectors on just to see if the KA fuel rail and injectors were clogged but nothing. Now I'm curious if it's a wiring problem inside the dash, or is it a wiring problem because of his ghetto ignition? Also why won't the car start in the first place? Any advice would help, thanks in advance.
