Post

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. I've gone through many articles and have been a bit of a voyer for a while.
I recently picked up a 95 S14 KA24DE motor and 5 spd trans that I'm going to put in a Datsun 510. I'm interested in feedback from you guys on a few things;
Would it be better to send the engine harness off to someone like Wiring specialties and have it modified? Or to use the info on some of the forums and do it my self. I've read that all I will use is 8 wires.
I've also read I need the transmission harness as well and I've read that I don't need it, comments?

Hope you can lend some of your experience to my project.

I can definitely say that you'll want to use a Wiring Specialties harness - Even though it seems simplistic, it;s worth the few extra bucks to have everything precise, clean and functional from the start. Plus, your time is worth something as well.

A KA in a Dime is a sweet swap. You're gonna love it!
