Hello All,

I currently own a DOHC S13 but I plan on swapping out the motor for an SR20 by the end of next summer. I would love to start another project around that time and I absolutely love the old 510's! I was wondering if anyone could give me swap info for a KA24DE.

Also, would it be possible to use my entire motor, engine harness and stock 240 CPU to run this beast like a pseudo-stand alone? I wanted to put the KA on an engine stand and build it up with all of the usual good stuff (cams, flywheel, crank pulley, ect) and I wanted to keep the EFI......

Any information or links on this would be most appreciated!! Thanks is advance!

Hmmm......

I must not have looked very hard because I found the info that I was looking for on another website. KA powered 510 is definately a future project.

The swap is easy if you can read a wiring diagram and have basic fabrication skills. You can buy a kit from Mario in LA but for the price of his parts, it makes more sense to do it by yourself. The turbocharging is a whole other ballgame. To do it right, the engine should be purpose built with all of the internal goodies to make it stand up to the demands of forced induction. Put together a game plan and then work your plan. It's alot of fun.

You would be really cool if you swapped an S13 SR20DE in your 510 like mine. If you are interested, let me know.

Why do an SR when you can do a KADE for less $? 3lbs heavier, 400 more cc, and redily available parts. Its all good.
