I had a question to see what the most important and fragile internal part is on the ka24de i want to replace either valves or springs and retainers or cams or pistons or whatever you think is most important i need some advice im not too concerned about going turbo,But i would like it to be an option my engine has 188k miles on it it pulls hard still but im concerned that it wont be able to handle a turbo stock. Please any feedback will be appreciated, feel free to move this post if you feel its necessary.

Ok, step 1 and rule 1 is plan ahead. Dont put anything on your race/project car that you cannot use later on , so if u want to go turbo later on start prepating for it now. As far as the weakest componant in the internals would be the rods. Your cr stock if perfect for a turbo so dont worry about the car not handeling a turbo stock it will. But dont think that your gonna bolt on a turbo and run 30pounds. As far as hp is concerned i am hearing that 300 steady whp is safe on stock internals. Me personally i am doing a complete k build because i just cant see anyone taking a car with 155 hp and doubling the hp safely on stock internals. But thats just me. Any other questions let me know. Glad to help
