...so my bro wants my engine if do a swap. What do you guys think..it's basically the same engine being swapped. Will it just drop in? My best guess is it will need some kind of custom motor mounts. Anything other than that is beyond me. He just popped me this question so I haven't had time to sleep on it so I brought NICO the query. Anyway it's no big deal, just a thought. BTW if you haven't caught on its a ka24de into a 93 Nissan pick up truck swap.

um...it probably won't be much at all really...

he could always put an SR in it!

He would need the complete motor, ecu, wiring harness, dohc power steering lines and dohc throttle cable. He might need more but those are the basics. It should bolt right in its the same block pretty much.

It shouldn't be a very big deal. There's a lot of room under the hood, if I remember right. I'd stick with the ka24de, and not an sr, though. It's a truck. You need stroke, not revs.

Thanks for the input but the KA stays in the '40...I've got NA plans for it so he'll just have to stick with the one in the truck.
