Why on earth would you want to put an engine that has 1/2 the power into a car that weighs way more than a 240? That car would be an incredibly powerless dog.
Possible-yes, practical-no. Find a replacement VG engine for your 300 will be the easiest, cheapest, and more satisfying in the long run.

I'm guessing OP wants a KA-T, it can be done but you will want to kick yourself in the nuts when your done because that KA-T will make the Z32 feel like it weighs 10000 LBS, it has s*** for torque stock and if you low comp and big turbo it, it'll be even worse, you'll never get off the line. Can it be done? YES, Should it be done? Probably thats a NO.

Ive seen some torque BEAST ka-ts. The ka is a bulletproof SOB. If you build the bottom up nice and solid you can push out as much as 700hp relatively safe. But if its a non turbo stock KA you want to shove in there, you might as well slap your self in the d!ck now. Save up money for an RB26 or bigger and swap that in if you want more room in the engine bay =).

In the words of some musclecar guy with a bigblock. "There ain't no replacement for displacement" seriously, I've got a WRX which is not stock, Ive ridden in 400+ AWHP STIs and just feeling the way the VG moves is a beautiful thing, and much more fulfilling then a 4-banger
