It is the same motor model but its a little smarter than the 240sx's ka24de lol, i have a 99 altima and the upgrades i have done is OBX stainless steel headers running down to only one caty conv. and flowing back to a super 44 series flowmaster, i also added an spectra intake and a magnum o2 sensor simulator so the a/f can be adjusted because the ecu on th 98-99 generation altima is very picky with whats its reading and will throw a bank 1 to lean or knock sensor malfunction code lol. since ive done all this my altima pulls very well and it keeps on 300zx's and 240sx's a$$'$ pretty well lol and mine has 241,XXX miles on it to the same motor :)

And the firing order is the same i believe but the heads are different since the distributor is running out the flywheel side of the head... But yeh they are pretty much the same lol

i got a quick question the timing went in my car, i re timed it, new gears, chain, tenseners, but everytime i go to fire it over it jumps time, when i spin it by crank u can see the chain marks switch each time around, is this faulty parts?
