ka24de help!!

so i just swapped motors in my s13(still ka24de). it won't start but it spins over. none of my lights work except the headlights. nothing in the interior works.the car is also popping alternator fuses...

any help would be great

i have spent the past two hours reading all over this forum trying to find what ever i could..so please don't have the negative noob comments

Go over all your connections. Look for frayed or stripped wires.As far as the engine goes, verify the ignition timing. I had the same problem, turned out the dizzy was off by a tooth.

if its popping that fuse, you have a short. or something(like an alt/starter wire) is hooked up wrong.

she is fixed

we didn't have the black peace on the alternator post and it grounded out and blew the alternator. new alt., new fuse, and after 1 1/2 hours trying to get the timing right, ended up being one tooth off also ,got it situated went to fire and she started right up thanks for the help
