can you put a ka24de top end on a ka24e bottom end?

Yes. Do some searching. Many people do this because the KA24E has forged innards.

You will probably get flamed for not searching, but it is definitely possible (and has been done many times before).

This is the second time in two weeks i have seen this. Where have you found any information on the KA24E having forged internals? The pistons have a different comp. ratio, but other then that they are cast pistons and rods like the KA24DE.
