I will be rebuilding my 1990 240sx coupe soon and was wondering if anyone here knew if the block for the dohc engines was the same and if the head could be swapped? Thanks

No, they are incompatible. Unless you swap the entire block, intake, exhaust manifold, ECU, wiring harness, A/C & lines, power steering, and everything else. Then you would have the DOHC.

Its going to be way way way less of a headache to just swap the engine lonblock into the car and do some splicing into the wiring harness.

Its not like a LS/VTEC Conversion where you just tap an oil line or two, and then jimmy rig the ecu and it runs great. Remember HONDUHS ARE CREATED EQUAL :)
