ok heres thescoop i blew up my old motor got a new block and crank and new piston and rods AND all new bearings and all new gaskets heres my delima ok the car starts and runs fine execpt it sounds like its cammed but it revs up like it would normaly like i said cammed idle but perfect throttle response and rpm climb so i dont know what the deal is now i used the head off my old motor cuz i knew all the valves were good and it was a good head no need in replacing something that isnt broke timing is dead on car start way to easy for the timing to be off... fireing order is correct all vac lines hooked up accordingly and no leaks cant drive the car cuz the slave cyl seized up so have to buy a new one tomorrow i have pretty much covered all bases with this ongoing problem the only thing i can think is thAT the gap is wrong on my plugs from being moved around while still in the head oh and another thing when i pull plugwire 1 the idle improves a little but when i put it back in it starts acting cammed again i am out of ideas please help :werd:

Re gap the plugs and see if it helps.

Injectors commonly fail on KA's to. Inspect plugs, gap plugs, check fuel injectors.

ok problem solved i pulled vac line off egr and car ran amazing i just had some vac lines crossed and i gave it a tune up for the hell of it
