Ok so i'm starting a turbo project soon, but right now i just want my 240 back on the road. So i'm going to install a N/A KA24DE as a good base to strap a turbo onto later.

My current SOHC overheats like once a month, has no oil pressure, and sounds like it has rod knock.

I read a few write ups about the swap, but time-wise, is it really difficult? Also should i replace things like rod bearings, oil pump, ect, before it goes in? I'm going to be replaceing the clutch at the same time too.
