are you talking about that dinky little fan behind the fan shroud? I personally would not. Ive heard some people tell me there's was fine and others tell me their car overheats with just that one. I wouldn't since your OEM temp gauge = crap anyway and by the time it tells you something it's already been too hot for abit.katinkid wrote:yes but is the stock factory electric enough... or do i have to buy another electric fan. my car has the belt fan, then another electric fan attached to the radiator!
agreed, i ran just the AC fan on my s14 for over a year and im running the AC fan on my s13 now with no problems for almost a year. The 14 had the stock radiator24DSXY1 wrote:I've been using just the stock a/c fan for over 7 months now with no problems. I use a direct switch and and my a/c is still supercool. Maybe it's because of my koyo radiator, idk... but, I'm still getting FAL electric fans soon.
^^^^^ Straight up... on my first KA, my fan clutch went out so i had no choice but to switch it to the e-fan for the ac and it worked fine for a long time. i would only recommend doin it but only if you know what you're doin. make sure you have the fan hooked up pulling, and obviously remember to turn it on whenever you start the car24DSXY1 wrote:I've been using just the stock a/c fan for over 7 months now with no problems.
