Ever attempted before. I have a extra ka header and i was planing on chopping the exhaust inlets off and welding them to a Sr turbo mani. I was getting desperate for a turbo mani and wondered if this would work. The Sr manifold did line up by the way with the exception of course being the inlets. I also fitted a audi/volvo mani to a Ka block and it lined up fairly well also. Any reason why this (ka/sr cut and paste) shouldn't work or is a bad idea?

instead of ruining a perfectly good header, send them both to me, I'll duplicate the KA flanges, weld them on the SR manifold for you, then dispose of that silly header for you.....

email me for shipping info.

Seriously though, unless the header is already shot, why ruin it? A flange is pretty easy to make, if you're good enough at fab work to modify a manifold, you ought to be able to make a flange.

that and you dont get too far welding dissimilar metals and putting them on the hot side of an engine.
