ka24de exhaust doesn't fit on my sr20det. Anyone else had this problem?

I've been searching around, and everywhere I read people say the ka20de ('92 s13 coupe) exhaust should fit on the sr20det, although it's not necessarily ideal. I went to bolt mine up, and the flanges are different. I've searched for this problem, but can't seem to find anyone with the same problem.

The car is at my shop, and I can't remember what the two flanges look like to describe the issue, but I figured I'd check to see if anyone else has seen this issue, and could possibly shed some light on it for me. I was going to just buy aftermarket exhaust, but now I don't know what to buy because I'm afraid of those who say the exhaust will fit the ka and the sr, and I'm not sure which of mine is abnormal.
