KA24de engine wont crank

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I have a 1991 240sx it has the Ka24de back in my fuel pump turns on, the car is getting fuel, it wants to crank but wont start does anybody know what the problem could be :confused: I really need some help guys

Are there any Check Engine Light codes?

Does it have spark?

and im not getting any spark at all either

bad ignitor? no spark at all four spark plugs? gotta be something they share commonly. Check the ignitor/distributor assy. And check your main grounds for your ignition components.

hi everyone yea seriously need some help here I replaced my thermostat and the car took me a couple miles down the road no problems then I head back home and the car starts to over heat to hot and when I stop the coolant starts pouring out my reservoir and I let the car cool down then started it so I can head home and it drives fine once again does anyone know what the problem is???

Air bubble in the coolant system. Search for burping procedures. Needs to be on an incline or the front jacked up. Takes a little work.
