ka24de engine swap?

alright guys i have a 89 240sx with a 2.4 SOHC but it threw a rod. so now im going to put in a new engine but i dont have enough money for a sr20. im thinking of putting in a 91-94 2.4 DOHC engine into it, what i want to know is.. is this possible? how hard would it be/ what do i need extra for the swap besides a ecu? etc.. if you have any coments please let me know, also maybe how much should this cost for a slightly used one. etc. please only respond if you know what the heck your talking about. Thanks

This has been covered a lot, but the general things you will need are ecu, maf, harness, p/s lines, gauge cluster, distributor, and maybe a a/c compressor. I'm not real sure on the a/c. It is really not a bad swap and there are people selling this stuff in the classifieds(the for sale section on these boards) for about $350 for everything.

Or you could sell the car, save the money and put it in the Jeep. I used to build CJ's. I love the feeling of riding in a purpose built vehicle with no doors or top.
