ka24de engine running rough (PLEASE HELP)

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

it is idle'n rough and has a tramendous loss of power under full throttle! and has trouble starting almost like a loss of fuel!

i checked the injectors/changed them out! im kinda thinking maf wat do you think!

What all is exactly wrong with it. . and what all have you done to it. So we can have a set diagnostic.

well in the past 2 days im thinking/hoping water in my gas tank cause it back firing a lil bit but not loud at all! (THE ONLY THING I HAVE DONE TO THE CAR IS AN INTAKE AND A HOLLOWED OUT CAT.) P.S. HOW DO I CHECK THE TIMING?

With a timing gun. . .or you can just reset it. .by hand.

this damn thing is running like total s*** except when under full throttle it pulls harder than ever! i dont get it!

also if it runs strong on wot then i would look around for a vacuum leak of some kind

^^^ +1 ^^^grab a can of carbueretor cleaner and spray around the vacuum lines with the engine running... when it revs up, look in that general area for your vacuum leak.
