Where do ya gotta look to find an upgrade kit for engine internals? Eventually I wanna throw a turbo on it, but would like to make it a bit stronger first. Any ideas?

How much power are you planning to throw down? The Stock internals are good up to 400whp before you start bending rods. A lot of guys run 350whp daily drivers on stock internals.

and to be fair, a lotta guys have blown that up too on stock internals.

and many KA trannys blow from heavy use at around 300-350, so.....

the stock internals if in good condition will take ~300rwhp, 350 with good tune, after that rods can go anywhere between 350-450 depending on abuse and whenever the rods want to give up.

as for the transmission, the manual has been seen holding anywhere from 300-400(did Ivan run the same 5sp on the twin's car? the 1 with 600+hp, i believe i have a video of it, and it had a 5sp), as for the auto transmission you have to get a cooler after about 300hp.

certainly, and its pretty well known that nissan was shooting for the 500 hp range on this gearbox.

My friend just blew up his third ka box on his SR. granted he is ridiculusly tough on his transmission, but he has less than 300 horse right now.

i wouldnt be scared up to 350
