What is this thing on the bottom of the throttle body, and can I just leave it like this since it has no lines going to it, or will I have to weld the holes shut?

Also, what is this? Can I just weld this shut too? Doesn't look necessary at all. The thing coming off the throttle body in the first pic connects to it, and then it goes to a heater hose...?

I believe those are coolant lines on the throttle body. You can bypass them and leave them open. You don't have to cut/weld them unless you really want to.

Yeah I figured. It just gets confusing cause there is SO much s*** on that damn manifold.

I can leave the throttle body passages open, but I dont think I can leave the one that is attached to the heater line open. That one will have to be capped/blocked/welded.
