ka24de egr stuff

hey. i have a 91 s13 w/ ka24de 5 speed. and i was messing around with my friends u know sliding around and stuff and all of the sudden it started to sound like the exhaust would have a hole in it. The next day i noticed that the pipe that plugs in the headers was unplugged, it just blew out. Its the one that goes to the EGR valve. So now i have trouble to screw it back in, wont stay properly. Can i just plug the hole where it connects into the header with a screw and put a breather on the end of the egr's pipe?

Weird. Sounds like your EGR pipe... blew out of its bung and stripped the threads with it. This means that your cat is probably clogged, or your exhaust is super restrictive.

You can just plug the bung, and seal the pipe off and be fine.

ill post up some pics and make sure i plug up the rite thing.

it kinda went in, but cross threaded. stays, but might pop out again.
