i'm going to buy a ka24de with an auto transmission in the next couple days and i was wonder if i could use that ecu with the 5 speed from my 90'

yes you can since it eliminates the speed limiter

yes u can but u will have your check engine light on with a MIL code 83,somtin bout the automatic module not being there. The car will run a little funny too like wen u come to a stop at a trafic light your motor will be idling at 2k rpm, the motor also runs a little ruff, i had this set up and later swaped out my auto ecu to a 5spd ecu and now it runs perfect, nice and smooth
