KA24DE ECU PROBLEM??

my s13 has a manual trans Ka24de
I resentfully bought an Auto "KA24DE ECU off ebay (genuine nissan ECU supposedly from a working car)
when I installed it into my car, the car would start up and then die right after..

I'm guessing they either gave me a broken ECU or its from the ka24e.
anybody have this problem with a manual to auto ecu? am i missing something?
If I plan on doing a rom tune would I be able to tune a KA24E ECU to run my KA24DE????????????

Should be no issue with a AT ECU in a MT car. Something is wrong with ECU or it is the wrong one. And no you can't run a E ECU in a DE, completely different.

it was a to a KA24E.. thank -_- i'll sent it back.
