Hey guys i need some help
I just changed my injectors (370cc) on my 240sx and got e85 rom tune for it.

Do i need to change my timing or ignition set up?

I imagine if there is a tune it has a certain range for the timing specific to that tune, unless is a simple and goes with stock timing. IDK alot e85 or tom tunes tho lol

Not off hand. It'll be a guessing game unless you find someone who has done it before and already knows. Its the typical process, though. Advance it until it pings, then back it off 1-2 degrees.

What you'll need to remember is that the equivalent octane rating on E85 is roughly 104. Its almost like race gas, so it will be much more resistant to premature combustion.

what about regular 85? (the non ethanol)

doesnt e85 build sludge or something? and also burns alot quicker so you get less mpg and power loss?

I just changed the timing to more advanced and the car runs better :)
Right now I need to do a better tune and everything ll be great

e85 burns faster but it is 103-109 octance fuel :)

regular 85? That's just crap gas. E85 is an alcohol race fuel... the 85 stands for 85% pure grain alcohol, 15% regular gas. Its 104 octane ie: 85/87/89/91/93...... 104

It a good cleaning agent, so any sludge you have in your system will be cleaned out and clog filters yes. Just change them regularly.

Crap mileage? Sure... More power? Hell yeah.
