I can't find it using Search. I have an 89' 240sx and I am putting in a 96' Ka24de that I have. The 96' motor needs a distributor, so I wanted to know what year I should buy, or if I should just buy a distributor off a 96'? Thanks for any help! :D

Depends on the wiring harness...

If you're using the S13 DOHC harness, you need an S13 (91-94) distibutor and external coil.

If you're using the S14 DOHC harness (harder swap - wiring), then you need an S14 distributo (internal coil).

That, and the '96 coolant temp sensors won't plug into an S13 harness, etc...

Later - Brian

Thanks for your help! I guess I'll go ahead and go with the s14 since thats the harness I already have. Thanks!
